Recently I've been addicted to Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. (Although I've only seen 10 episodes and still have the sequel to get through)

The title of this journal basically explains all you need to know, without giving it anything away. In all honesty, I can't really stand the art, as it completely contradicts the mood of things half the time. I am getting used to it, gradually, and I may even start to like it... /shudder

From one chapter to the next it will sometimes feel like you're watching two different shows at once (A ditsy, light-hearted comedy to a psychotic frenzy of chopping, hammering and screaming...let's not forget throat tearing).

Not to mention the fact that everyone is constantly being revived from whatever battered or chopped state when the next chapter starts, kinda throws you off. I'm sure there's a reason and I'm sure it'll be revealed however vaguely later.

I think that covers it, so if you look it up don't be fooled and turn it down (like I almost did)...it's loli-esque style hides something much more sinister =w= )v Not to mention interesting. So if you're not easily fazed by a bone-crunching, fairly graphic detail of two girls no older than 15 getting a savage beating by a baseball bat (which is ironically the very first scene ... hmmm...) and lots of squishy noises, I say give it a shot.

Oh yeah, don't worry...it has a plot. =w= )v
